World Ozone Day Awareness Programme

a cheque distribution ceremony under the Chief Minister’s Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu schemes was successfully organised at Golaghat Purbanchalik College, Hatiyekhowa, in accordance with the directives of the Government of Assam.
The programme commenced with the live telecast of the central programme, which was witnessed by the students and other participants. Following the telecast, a meeting was held on the college premises to mark the occasion.
The prime meeting was started with lightening the lamp by Dr. Haren Hazarika, principal. Shri Rajmohan Sarmah, Chairman of the Dergaon Development Authority, attended the programme as the nominated Chief Guest and delivered an insightful and encouraging lecture to the students. He highlighted the significance of the schemes and their role in supporting students’ educational aspirations. Dr Haren Hazarika, Principal of the college; Dr Malamoni Goswami, Vice-Principal; and Smt Protiva Kurmi, Block Elementary Education Officer (BEEO), North Block, Golaghat, actively participated in the programme.
More than 200 students attended the ceremony, reflecting their keen interest in the initiatives undertaken by the Government of Assam to promote education and provide financial support to students.
The entire programme was anchored by Pranjal Saikia, IQAC Coordinator, and Rinku Moni Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Department of Assamese. Their effective coordination helped ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
The programme concluded on a positive note, reaffirming the commitment of the college towards promoting education and supporting the educational aspirations of students through various government initiatives.
