Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu Scheme Form Distribution Ceremony:—
In compliance with the Government of Assam order dated 6 August 2026, Golaghat Purbanchalik College, under the joint initiative of the IQAC and the College Administration, organized the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina and Nijut Babu Scheme Form Distribution Ceremony on 6 August 2026.
The programme was graced by Mr. Rajmohan Sarma, chairman Dergaon Development Authority (DDA), Golaghat, who attended as the Chief Guest. Ms. Minakshi Borgohain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Dergaon Sub-Division, also attended the programme as a distinguished guest.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Haren Hazarika, Principal, Golaghat Purbanchalik College. Dr. Malamoni Goswami, Vice Principal, was also present and addressed the gathering.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest, symbolizing the beginning of the event. Following the inaugural ceremony, the dignitaries formally distributed the application forms for the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina and Mukhya Mantri Nijut Babu schemes among the eligible students. The guests highlighted the objectives of the schemes and encouraged students to make full use of these welfare initiatives of the Government of Assam.
The successful distribution of application forms was facilitated by Mrs. Chandana Panging, Bijit Saikia and Mrs. Nasrin Begum, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.
The entire programme was efficiently coordinated and hosted by Mr. Pranjal Saikia, IQAC Coordinator, Golaghat Purbanchalik College.
More than 200 students participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Malamoni Goswami,who expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, distinguished guests, college authorities, faculty members, staff, and students for their active participation and support in making the programme a grand success.
